And I am LIVING!! The communal family we are attempting to build and shape has been hanging out all week. All of us are awkwardly unemployed, but in a 'trying to be self employed' kind of way (although A is hardcore canvassing for jobs, wish him luck!), and that makes us easily excited but with way too much time on our hands. Tim has a photography art show downtown, and a few of my artistic pregnancy pictures are hanging. I am submitting line drawings of bodies to hang at the same space.
I have been sending out emails and calls and all sorts of feelers for places to show my art. The MarkFuoco Gallery, where the Erotic Art Show is that Tim and I are participating in this month, has very sweetly invited and welcomed us back anytime. I am DEFINITELY keeping that in mind, but I feel like some of my paisley and lighter works would do better in the downtown pop culture sort of section. Keeping fingers crossed!
The girls are doing well, Lolo remains the happiest baby ever, and quite the foodie at the tender young age of 8 months. Annette will no doubt be going for her doctorate in 'Mommy doesn't know half of what I think I know' by the end of her third year of life. She is learning her letters and improving her commendable conversation skills daily. She is also an ANGELIC big sister.
